ZAINAB KAMRAN
Associate
Zainab Kamran is a crypto and Web3 lawyer and an Associate at NeosLegal, a boutique Web3 law firm based in Dubai, where she advises on the legal and regulatory structuring of crypto and digital asset projects and tokenized business models across multiple jurisdictions.
Her work focuses on bridging legal structure with product reality, helping clients navigate regulatory uncertainty while designing crypto systems that can function in practice. She is regularly involved in matters where legal, technical, and operational considerations intersect, and where early structuring decisions materially affect execution risk.
Zainab advises token issuers, VASPs, DAOs, and other digital asset businesses on regulatory strategy and licensing considerations across the lifecycle of crypto projects, from early structuring to market-facing compliance. Her work is primarily focused on the UAE and other leading digital asset jurisdictions, and frequently involves cross-border structuring.
In addition to client advisory work, Zainab has contributed to policy discussions on tokenization frameworks and has advised government-related stakeholders on the development of regulatory approaches to digital assets.
Zainab was named a finalist for “Rising Star of the Year” at the LexisNexis Middle East Legal Awards 2025 and shortlisted for “Top Crypto Woman of the Year” at the Blockchain Life Awards 2025, in recognition of her contributions to the digital asset legal ecosystem.
She holds an LLM in International Business Law from King’s College London and a Master’s degree in International Competition and Trade Law from Boğaziçi University. She previously practiced constitutional and commercial litigation in the UAE and Pakistan, a background that informs her cross-jurisdictional, risk-aware approach to digital asset advisory work.
